Modern furniture, better Wi-Fi and plenty of space to study and relax: From the entrance hall to the 4th floor, a total of 11 common areas for students have been acoustically optimised, refurnished and equipped with strong Wi-Fi and sufficient power sockets.

Since the end of December 2024, students at the Urstein Campus can find a total of 11 areas - the ‘Student Spaces’ - which they can use as needed: There is space to study, places for meetings and group work, areas to relax and opportunities for a snack in between. Two additional project rooms for small groups have been set up on the ground floor in rooms 015 and 016, which students can book. This is done via the degree programme offices.
Different rooms for different needs
From the entrance hall to the 4th floor, the zones have been acoustically optimised, refurnished and equipped with strong Wi-Fi and sufficient power sockets. Open-plan kitchen and dining areas are available to students on the 2nd and 3rd floors. In addition to drinks and snack vending machines, there is also a microwave where food can be heated up.
Remodelling work is also currently taking place in the library on the Urstein campus: The study areas there are being renovated and new, attractive lounge areas are also being provided for quiet working.
